I did this book on Weapons of War in Indian mythos, which suffered from the 3.0 to 3.5 conversion. Still, the weapons mentioned are from historical documents I could find about what was used in that region of the world and are pretty unique compared to Western weapons. One of my favorites was a sword designed off a fish skeleton called the spine sword, but the onion-looking mace called the Vajragada was pretty sweet too and you can view them on the preview page:

While we are on the subject, have you heard of Tekumel? It was the first D&D campaign setting pushed by TSR and it is heavily influenced by Indian, Middle Eastern, Egyptian and Mayan/Aztec mythology.
