Name Generator for PPC?

Zelgadas

First Post
I apologize if there's already a thread about this; I can't seem to figure out how to run a search on this forum, though (if someone could point out how to do that, it would be appreciated). Anyway, I'm looking for a random name generator that I can use on my Pocket PC. I've used a few name generators in the past that I've been fairly impressed with, but they all had the limitation of needing my PC in order to work, not very convenient when playing an RPG. Anyway, if anyone knows where to find one, I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction. Thanks in advance!

I'd like a random name generator for my Pocket PC, although i'd absolutly love a full DM tool for it, I usually use my laptop, but sometimes games just happen and my laptop is at home because i didn't plan for a game :(

But i always seem to squeek my way through it though :D

I am also looking for a Name Generator that will work on a Pocket PC. I'd love to be able to use Tablesmith :(

I wrote a version of TableSmith for WinCE PDAs a number of years ago, but I have no idea if it will work on modern PPCs. Do a web search for "TableSmith CE" and you may be able to find it somewhere.

If you try it, let me know if it works :)

DSForgeworks v2.0 will be available in just a couple of months and it includes random generators for treasure, weather, and names. It also has useful DM tools like combat tracking, spell duration tracking, an XP calculator, and the ability to make skill checks for an entire party with just one click.

It's still a couple of months away from release. I just wanted you to know that it's coming very soon!

For the PC:

I think that Bruce's TableSmith stuff is fantastic, and that functionality is available in RolePlayingMaster (see sig). Its integrated into a full Dm/Player RPG tool where the random generations are actually useable in proper character generation.
If you don't plan, and DM 'on the fly', the generators extend to things such as making intelligent equipment (incl magic), feat, spell lists etc used by the character generator.

I know I've said it before but...I am so looking forward to this.
