You can’t just keep stomping on orcs all day.Maybe renown should work like XP... use the same table. Each character has an actual XP total and a renown XP total. Renown XP is gained from completion of world changing quests, not mundane treasure hunting and monster killing.Renown level is what matters when getting to name level. A character who has killed with reckless abandon may have gained a lot of levels, but gained very little renown XP.
