Today's writing was the last happy point in my protagonist's life--probably the highest point for her as well. I have a little bit left of that, maybe a chapter or two, then it is all downhill. I figured I would have been past this point by 20-25k, but still have some exposition to get through before i get to the main focus of the story. I don't know if the end point is further away than I figure or if the next part will be shorter than I expect. Either way, I look forward to what lies ahead. I'm sure some of what I have written will need to be cut, but so fa everything seems to be solid stuff. Now for the meat of the story and the reason I am writing it.</blockquote>
