The first season was alright, but the second season was pretty much like Dragonball Z with less likable characters.Between episodes 24 and 26, or something like that, the cast of the show quadruples, and thus the pacing of the show comes to an arupt, screeching halt.  I jumped from episode 33 to episode 48 without actually missing anything.  After episode 50, I decided to stop watching the show altogether.The title character was an obnoxious idiot in episode 1, and he was still an obnoxious idiot in episode 50.  He'll probably be an obnoxious idiot for the entire series.I'll grant that Sasuke's cool.  I'd would probably have liked the show if he was the main character.  Unfortunately, he's not enough to compensate for the rest of the idiots in the show.Sakura is simply the worst ninja ever.  She does nearly nothing in the entire first season, and even when she got fed up with her own uselessness, she didn't actually improve or change anything.  It's a sad, sorry thing when all you can say about what the main female character of the show has done is that she's cut her hair.My final evaluation of Naruto is that it's a show that by all rights should be good, but fails to be actually be so.</blockquote>
