The group enters the house, Law closing the door behind them. The hall is only about thirty feet long, and completely unfurnished, with calming creme-colored walls. The door at its end does not open on its own as Harper expected, so he opens it himself. Meanwhile Law hears the front door open behind him and he looks over his shoulder. Harper sees Law ahead of him, facing away but looking back over his shoulder at him, and ahead of him Chance, and ahead of her his own back, looking on at an endless repetition of the same scene. Law sees Harper coming through the door behind him, and behind Harper is Chance, and behind her is himself, looking over his shoulder at an endless repetition of the same scene. The two doors have become the same door, the two doorways have become the same doorway. Each end of the straight hallway connects impossibly to the other, and all three mages are greeted to the panic-inducing sight of an endless series of themselves, expanding for hundreds and hundreds of yards in both directions. [sblock=Remaining calm and rational]Law's Roll: Resolve 2 + Composure 3 = Success with 1 success Chance's Roll: Resolve 3 + Composure 3 = Success with 1 success Harper's Roll: Resolve 2 + Composure 4 = Success with 3 successes Thankfully all three mages pass their rolls. The situation is still potentially terrifying but they retain control.[/sblock]The impossibility of the situation, the lack of options, the sudden claustrophobia, the inescapable nature of the room, it all falls on the mages like a wave.
