From the aspect of a role player, a Judge can be a flavorful character, allowed to sway with the wind alignment wise while still keeping his core values the same. A powerful birthright and a destiny ordained by a god makes for an interesting character in any setting. By tweaking the specifics you can make a Judge fit into almost any setting. (Example: Change the oath of not drinking and not cutting ones hair to be something different and your class can be all your own!)</p> <p style="text-align: left"> </p> <p style="text-align: left"> <strong>What the Hell is a Judge?</strong></p> <p style="text-align: left"> A judge in this sense is not a wig-wearing court official who attended an Ivy League college. In ancient times, the Hebrews had quasi-warlords who were tribal leaders. His roll was that of war leader and sometimes he administered justice. Samson was one of the Judges talked about in the Torah (In the… BOOK OF JUDGES!) and I designed this class to reflect him and the other god-bound mortals throughout mythology. (Because if D&D was not based on myth and legend, what is it based on?) </p> <p style="text-align: left"> </p> <p style="text-align: left"><strong>Evil Judges</strong></p> <p style="text-align: left"> Sure why not. Just switch the DR against evil to DR vs. damage from good enemies. Make the requirement for the alignment Lawful Evil. Might make a good villain.</p> <p style="text-align: left"> </p> <p style="text-align: left"> <strong>Skill Build Notes:</strong></p> <p style="text-align: left"> Loose: Fast Movement. Trap Sense. HD Changed from D12 to D8. Can not drink. Can not have hair shaved. Edited Rage in a major fashion.</p> <p style="text-align: left"> Gain: DR vs evil.
