Characters Betrayal at the House on the Hill You have each been invited by Dorian Greyhaven to attend a get together in honor of the Band of the Red Eagle. Dorian adventured with your parents and is well known for his deeds with the Band and his service to Pelor. His note indicates that he wishes to talk to each of you regarding your parents and pay his respects to their memory by gifting you with mementos from their adventuring days. Intrigued, you journey to his home hoping to learn the mystery of the Band of the Red Eagle, a group that your parents barely mentioned. Characters Suzette Thorn (Bard) Suzette grew up on the streets of Waterford, a small port city on the coast of Old Tares. She never knew her parents as they died in a fire when she was 2. The inn that they had purchased in their retirement was consumed completely, leaving Suzette with nothing other than her name and the legacy of the Red Eagles. Suzette was lucky in that she was protected by a homeless man called Fallen. Fallen recognized her stunning voice early in her childhood and encouraged her to sing for her meals. She became quite adept at this and soon earned enough to provide for a drafty shack on the edge of town. Not long after she turned 14, Fallen died in a knife fight and she fled Waterford, narrowly escaping a group of “fans” who wanted more than a simple song. The summons from Dorian Greyhaven was met with shock on her part and she quickly turned her attention to it wondering if she would finally learn about her past. Jermayan Velenor (Ranger) The Band of the Red Eagle was never a myth to Jermayan. He had met all of them, albeit briefly whenever his father had chosen to make an appearance.
