Message: <blockquote data-quote="fett527" data-source="post: 2072385" data-attributes="member: 5458">Wow.  Didn't know we had a fan base on the boards.  I have never attended UD, but I have lived in Dayton all my life and follow the Flyers closely and am a big fan.  I have attended two games this year (one through 100 level tickets from a vendor and the game over the Christmas break where we got free seat upgrades because of low attendance-real bad snow storm.  By the way low attendance at a Flyers game is about 5,000 for those unaware)  As for the performance this year, it has been spectacular.  Bucky Albers of the DDN was predicting a 500 season as a great success and now they are competing for the A10 Championship (They'll clinch a bye in the A10 tourney if Xavier will be kind enough to lose to Richmond tonight).This team is young, very young.  1 SR, 5 JR (3 of which get playing time), 2 SO, and 8 FR.8 Freshman. Of which 6 (Brian Roberts, Nick Stafford, Trent Meacham, Norman Plummer, Chris Alvarez, Jimmie Binnie) get regular playing time.I wish nothing but the best this year, but watch closely the next 2-3 years.  It will be exciting!</blockquote>
