More bang for the buck When I started this thread I really had no idea what rongoon was going to end up as. I had the basic storyline, but not the details. I guess I've learned that the devil IS in the details. Having no Monster Manual it's tough to work him out without ripping some other poor creature apart. But you all came to my aid in my time of need. In the end here's what Rongoon is.. (minus the stats) A creature of myth and legend, Rongoon roams the coutrysides. First mentioned in the texts of ancients races, Rongoon has endured the ravages of time. Sightings of the great magical beast have ended in the past elven generations. Rongoon was worshiped as a god by the House Rongoon, as loved as a brother by the High Tribes of Bayar and feared as a tempest by the Cattlemen of Ohm Plains. While many have encountered the creature in different circumstances, most agree with what they have seen. The creature stands as tall as the Watch Tower of Dur-Ohm. Skin the color of slate, with jagged bony protrusions at each joint and interlocking bony plates along the spine and the haunches. A thin mane of cord-like onyx hairs run down his sholders and along its underbelly. It's eyes, which appear glossy and deep-set, are protected by exoskeletal cages... Most agree that the creature, though seeming docile, can move at tremendous speeds, leaving no tracks. The anger of the creature is terrifying at most accounts. When strom clouds gather Rongoon is angered, some say. Most remark at it's intelligence, as smart as a man... maybe smarter. Anything else?
