Quoted for truth! This is one I've been itching to try, and today's Dragonshard makes me want to play one even more! Your halfling barbarian could mix in a few levels of either druid or spirit shaman, if the latter is preferred and/or allowed. You were an apprentice Mask Weaver, one of the few survivors of an attack that wiped out your tribe. You try to follow the teachings of your elder so that you can one day take your rightful place as a shaman of your people, tending their wounds and rebuilding the strength of your tribe. Your anger at the loss (and betrayal) you have suffered simmers just below the surface at all times, finding sweet release when you don your spirit mask, mount your dinosaur, and exact bloddy vengance from your foes! Carrying that though further, you almost be a split personality, your smiling face striving to serve as an example of the best qualities of your people, wheeling and dealing and negotiating as if you were a paragon of House Ghallanda (or the Boromar clan), subtly gathering information that will lead you closer to the murderers of your people (Karrnathi soldiers? a rival Talenta tribe? Valenar?), while your fearsome spirit mask transforms you into an inevitable, malevolent force of retribution!
