Quintessential Human? You've GOT to be kidding me! LOL! Mind if I make a suggestion? How about introducing some way of making a human be able to be Small or Large? Maybe a Feat or something like that. So a human player can play a Mini-Me type of character or that midget from Fantasy Island on the one hand, and a Bombata (from Conan the Destroyer) or Fezzik (from The Princess Bride) type of character on the other hand. Glad I could be of service! ;) I wasn't even intending on writing a review, here. I was originally gonna just ask for where I could find downloadable Quintessential Paladin sheets and that was it, but then I got the urge to talk about the book, started writing what I liked about the book, and that post came out. GREAT stuff, man. Seriously. Best $20 I've spent in a LOOONNNGGG time! Most definitely blows away everything I've bought from WoTC with the exception of the 3 core books (Which are now $30). I'm already drawing up a list of the rest of the Quintessential books, putting them in order of priority of what'd be the most useful to me (Quintessential Fighter being #1 on that list). I'm also planning on buying the Power Classes booklets which a friend told me about a couple days, ago (His girlfriend is gonna be playing an Exorcist of Kelemvor for a Forgotten Realms game he's planning to run). That and my now having seen the kind of work Mongoose puts out has piqued my interest in them. I'm gonna go out and buy a handful of the things, tomorrow (Specifically Noble, Knight, Artificer, and Hedge Wizard). Hey? Who can argue with game supplements that only cost $2.99? That right there alone has me in awe. Has it ever occured to anyone to make game products that're that cheap? I sure haven't seen any that cheap.
