Message: <blockquote data-quote="chilibean" data-source="post: 364870" data-attributes="member: 2220">The guidance for Knowledge check DC's leaves a little to be desired IMO.Can anyone here list what they think are some reasonable examples of questions that would fit in the following categories:Easy (DC 10)Basic (DC 15)Hard (DC 20)Very Hard (DC 25)Extremely Hard (DC 30)Epic stuff (DC ?)A couple examples:Identify an extraplanar creature in plain view at about 30' using Knowledge[Planes]?  What about knowing some combat specific information on it?  What about knowing it's list of elemental resistances?  It's DR & SR?  What if you only had a quick glance at it?  Or maybe just a description from an eyewitness?What about using Knowledge[Arcana] to determine what kind of spells a certain well known clan of wizards typically uses?What about knowing when other clerics need to pray to recover their spells (Knowledge[Religion] obviously)?  Knowing what domains they have access to?  Identifying a follower of a religion (not a cleric with a visible holy symbol, just a regular Joe) from his dress and mannerisms?  What if you had a conversation with the guy and you wanted to know his religion, but didn't want to specifically ask him?  Or would some of these be some sort of mix between sense motive and knowledge religion?But I'd love to hear more examples if any of you can think of any (perhaps from a recent game you played).Thanks!</blockquote>
