Message: <blockquote data-quote="Pielorinho" data-source="post: 1716429" data-attributes="member: 259">Some ideas:-Get a copy of Steal this Book.  It's chockablock full of ideas on running low-level scams.  (I think there's a Complete Works of Abbie Hoffman out there that includes this book).-Watch some good con movies; Nine Queens, a neglected con-film from Argentine, is superfantastic for con ideas.-One idea that would be fun, but maybe not playable, would be to be a paladin.  Errr...cleric of Olidammara masquerading as a paladin.  Do the whole, "No need to thank me, ma'am, just doing my job" schtick, only after you're gone, the lady realizes she's missing her necklace, her earrings, and her moneypouch.  The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly has a similar scam in it, IIRC.-Silent Image combined with Sleight of Hand could be fun.  Palm the dice, make an image of them rolling the way you want (you'll probably have to rattle the dice in your hands to make the right noises), and "pick them up" quickly after the winning numbers come up.-A new feat, "Adjust Chance" (or maybe a substitute Arcane Trickster ability):  while using Mage Hand, you can make minor adjustments, applying a modifier (positive or negative) equal to your spellcasting ability modifier to any fine object within range.  Thus, you can make arrow and other ammunition more or less accurate than normal, or you can change how dice roll.-Hong's advice is good, but do not neglect Sleight of Hand:  that's what you're going to be using to do trick deals in card games, to switch the real jewels for the fake ones while the victim is watching, and so forth. Daniel</blockquote>
