Message: <blockquote data-quote="Squire James" data-source="post: 1627095" data-attributes="member: 548">Looking at my Complete Warrior Handbook, I see the following Fighter PrC's you might want to look at.  If your DM dislikes the "knight" motif, many of these classes can be renamed with most of their abilities and requirements intact.  For instance, the Cavalier can be re-named to any famous mounted combat tribe or unit (the heavy-armor motif is pure flavor and actually has nothing to do with the class).Cavalier: an excellent mounted combat PrC, Diplomacy and Knowledge (nobility) are class skills, requires +8 BAB so you still have a bit of work to do to get there.Kensai/Weapon Master: aside from the obvious focus on a single weapon, they get better social skills than the cavalier.  The requirements are probably easier to get, but the class may be so "out of flavor" your DM might not allow it.Knight Protector: basically a cavalier with infantry abilities instead of mounted abilities, roughly same class skills, and a lot easier to get into.  This is probably the way to go if you're a Strength/Cleave fighter (think how good Cleave and Sneak Attack work together when attacking groups of flat-footed foes!).Purple Dragon Knight: in case you haven't noticed, most social-oriented fighter PrC's involve knighthood somehow!  These guys have morale-related abilities similar to low-level bards.  They don't require investment in Perform skill, at least.</blockquote>
