The feats and skill requirements are just too high for a 1 level dip. At least if you are using the CW version(IE the one that limits your Int to AC like Duelist). If you are using the RoF version then a 1 level dip is kinda pointless since they have thier own spell list. I personally like 2fighter/4wizard/5spellsword/9EK. That gives a final BAB of 18, caster level of 15(8th level spells) and the ability to ignore 20%ASF and channel spell 3/day. It's a good balance between fighter and caster. It doesnt get 9th lvl spells pre-epic but I have always found that if you push for 9th level spells you have to loose too much fighting ability for me.</p></blockquote><p></p>
