Need help making magic item

Argent Silvermage

First Post
Just about everyone laughs at m when I say I want my character to make a bag of Tricks.

I'm making a Tan bag (SNAlly 5) but would like to make it better. I'm thinking making all the aminals that I pull out automaticly either dire or celestial.
any one else have any ideas?

(basicly druid magic items suck seriously and I want to rework what is there.)

My two yen

Being such an irregular item, it is almost impossible to reverse engineer this magic item. So all I can suggest to make a list of animals you want to summon, and compare them with the list already exist, and estimate the price. And that is DM's job.

By the way, I cannot believe that a Druid can make something that summons celestial animals. If the caster is a Druid, you should stick the list to usual animals and dire ones.

Why? I play a Neutral Good Divine spell caster. Bolo's Goddess is Ehlonna. Granted there would not be Planars, or Solars but Celestial animals? Sure!

Though your character is good aligned and a divine character, being a Druid, you are getting divine power from nature, not from Ehlonna's realm nor good aligned outer planes such as Celestia. You are not a cleric of Ehlonna.

Also, the bag of tricks are based on Summon Nature's Ally spells. Those spells never summon celestial animals.

Of course, a caster may create an item based on Summon Monster spells instead, provided you have some access to that spell (by multi classing, with an item, or with aid from another character)
