There could be a lot of reasons for this. Within my campaign, there is a history of spellcaster charlatans that have manipulated the aristocracy by lying on the results of divination spells. So now such things are generally not trusted. Evidence, proof, witnesses... these are the things that they want to see.I'm not sure if that works for your particular campaign, but it may help.</blockquote>
