I'm working on a variant of create magic that keys to different type of objects you can create. So far I have it narrowed down to five thematic groups: Traditional - things like simple tools, clothing, fences, swords, baskets, etc. Structural - things that involve multiple pieces working together to create a large object that has to support weight, mostly houses and such, but also required for bridges, tunnels, and very large vehicles like ships Mechanical - things with articulated moving parts, like plate armor, wagons, clocks, and so on. Something like a flail or chainmail falls under 'traditional,' not mechanical, because chain links are complicated. Modern - anything that uses electricity or computing. I'd like a better term for this if possible. Last category (name pending) - I'm trying to come up with a catch-all term that covers everything chemical, from food and drink to poison to acid to explosives. I'm using 'chemical' right now, but 'chemical' doesn't really make you think of food usually. Plus, if I want a spell that lets you create food, "Create Chemicals" just doesn't feel quite right. Anyone have any terminology suggestions?
