[QUOTE="EyeontheMountain, post: 3151756, member: 32338"] Hmm, depends on how cheesy you want to be. I'll give you the non-cheese option. Pretty much any way you arrange wizard and/spontaneous caster you will be 11/11 at 15th level (unless you use cheese or questionable interpretations) I do think warmage and wizard is a good combination, but get yourself a twilight mithril chain shirt ASAP so you have some AC, and no arcane spell failure. Anything more is too hard to work. As for intelligence and race, I am not a fan of elves, so I cannot recommend one (against my principles) but it is a solid choice. Whisper gnomes are simply awesome and really should be +1 LA creatures, but are not, so they make an excellent racial choice. As for feats, I would try to focus on ones that help both sides. Reserve feats are great for you as the warmage can always choose to use that kind of energy so the CL boost will help a lot. But i would just choose one, Fiery burst being my favorite. If you are in love with a different energy type, then go for that one. With Ultimate magus, you definitely wnat a couple of metamagic feats to use its core ability, but I would not go above a +2 adjustment. Empower will always be good with a warmage, and widen is another one to look closely at. In Red Hand of Doom there are lots of encounters with multiple foes. Even Shape Spell might not be a waste of time. (Not a big fan of this one, though many people swear by it) As for skills and such, you'll ahve few skill points, and i would recommend Able Learner if you are a human to get some low ranks (or one rank) in trained skills like tumble, and such. It is always nice to at elast get a roll, no matter how unlikely it is to succeed. For spell choice, the warmage is obvious and unchangeable, though I would recommend usingthe PHBII variant that allow a wider choice of extra learning spells for spells you will use very frequently. For the wizard, go for utility, and the one feat in Complete mage that allowsa single spontaneous spell per day can be a lifesaver. I highly recommend it for primary caster. Hope this helps.
