Need means of dismissing spell cast by another caster

Hello,

I am working on an adventure in which several powerful spellcasters are operating in coordination, and I'd like to be able to have some of the lower-level ones be able to dismiss a spell cast by a higher-level caster. For example, a high level wizard might erect a wall of force to hold back dangerous material, then leave the area. The party enters the area, and a minion uses a spell/magic item to dismiss the wall of force, unleashing the danger on the party.

I guess I'm basically looking for a way to transfer "ownership" of the spell once it is cast.

I haven't found anything that mimics this effect, and I'm perfectly willing to create a magic item that would accomplish this, but I always like to get the opinions of the folks here at ENWorld, they've always been very helpful. Thanks in advance for any references and/or advice! :)

I'm not aware of a means over taking "ownership" of a spell, but would a magic item with greater dispelling or mage’s disjunction work?

Specialised wall of force: Requires a key as a focus component. Any spellcaster holding the key can suppress the wall of force as a standard action. It reappears in the next round, as long as nothing obstructs its area of effect.

Greater Dispelling could work. I hadn't really thought about it too much, but since dismissing a spell is a standard action anyway, I guess it's feasible. I'll have to think about that as an option.

Pallid, the wall of force was just an example of the type of dismissing I was looking to do, not the specific situation. I didn't want to get too specific just in case "curious" eyes happened upon this when they shouldn't.

Thanks for the help! :)

Only thing I can think of is to have the more experienced casters use Bigby's Telepathic Bond to allow telepathic communication with their main subordinates and comrades. When a subordinate needs the spell dismissed, they telepathically address their master, who dismissess it with a thought (or telepathically informs his/her comrade who had cast that spell, who then dismisses it).

I suppose you could have a Glyph of Warding (Spell Glyph) containing dispel magic from the initial caster (since "You automatically succeed on your dispel check against any spell that you cast yourself"). The glyph could be set up to activate when the minion desires and consider the targeted spell as the "intruder".
