Sounds kind of a weird thing to ask for, I guess, but I'm needing some symbols for a mini-campaign I plan to run in time for Halloween. The mini-campaign consists of two parts and uses both the Little Fears and Don't Look Back game systems (I opted for CoC, but I'll use what everyone else in my gaming group wants). The first part uses Little Fears and takes place in 1985, when the characters are kids. The second part uses Don't Look Back and takes place in 2000, when the characters are adults. The storyline of the mini-campaign revolves around a kid named Ridley who is poorly mistreated during his childhood and mysteriously vanishes with his alcoholic, unemployed father. Ridley is the antagonist and has a strange ability to bring out the inhibitions and fears in people, causing them either to become emotional putty or psychotic. Later on, when the characters go back to their hometown 15 years later, they find it overrun with hideous monsters that they eventually find out to be controlled by Ridley. The mini-campaign has a lot to do with wrath, anger, child abuse and the passing of child abuse through the family, hatred, and all of that stuff. I'm making the town in the mini-campaign to be a former center point for odd happenings, such as rituals, gatherings, supernatural-related murders, etc. Enough background info aside, I need some symbols for this survival horror mini-campaign. A lot of the areas in it will be marked with symbols to either keep evil inside, protect against evil, or to draw evil towards it. Also, I need some symbols for general protection, healing, knowledge, etc. Not generally magic symbols, but universal symbols or symbols from ancient writing systems. They don't have to be 'real' real, if you know what I mean. Does anybody have any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance! Cheers!
