so i am a level 13 Warlock and have started making full use of my "Dead Shall Walk" Invocation. The making of zombies and skeletons was fun at first but now i got my hands on some black onyx. So when we were in a dungeon, and the Assassian in our party, Xadian, decided it was a good idea to jump into a purple worms mouth, he got eaten and well....died. So he was all Sad faced and after we gutted the thing he he came spilling out in a poll of acid, my first response was,
"Fear not my friend, for you shall Walk again." and shoved a black onyx into his mouth. Thus was born Xombie. Everyone at our table loves what i did and its really cool but the only real problem is that he loses all class HD and stuff and drops to a useless Elf zombie.
Now i already have a 15 HD Skeleton White Dragon hanging out in the bottom of my boat, and a small army building itself in the form of a Leadership feat. And what i really want is to have a small group of undead that i can send into battle. And i want Xombie to lead them into the frey. BUT at his current state he will just die.
SO what I'm wondering is if there is a way other than the corps crafter feats in the liberus mortus(SP?) to make Xombie the general i want and need him to be.
The evolving undead template would work but the time is an issue. I do have a plan for it thoo. The DM introduced a time traveling "Watcher" into the campaign that has some sort of connection to my Character. If i lock Xombie up and have this NPC travel thousands of years into the future and retrieve the now evolved Xombie and bring him back in theory it should work.
But when i told the DM he sorta just laughed so i don't think that's gona happen.
Any thoughts?
