Nemain Elephants?

A long time ago (but not so very far away) I was playing in a high level (10+) module that had two Nemain(?) Elephants in it - they were fighting each other for a very long time. One was good, the other evil.

Does this sound familiar? I'd like to know what module this was in. I though it was Judges Guild's Dark Tower, but since I just bought that and they aren't in there, it must have been something else.

They were 10HD (if I remember right) 5' tall. highly intelligent elephants.

So anyone know what module these were in?

Hmm, I will try to use my knowledge of mythology to try to figure out what these creatures were. Artoomis, I am not familiar with the adventure but I am familiar with the term Nemean lion.

The Nemean lion was a beast slain by Hercules. Arrows would not pierce its skin, so he ended up straingling it.

It does not sound familiar to me, perhaps the dm made it up?

He could have based it off the old theory that the world was held up on the back of two elephants. *shrug*
