Message: <blockquote data-quote="jrients" data-source="post: 3355036" data-attributes="member: 13559">So I had this stupid idea for a prestige class called "Magic-Users of the Pointy Hat".  The idea was that it would be one of those +1 spellcaster classes for arcane types, with class abilities that mimic spells from earlier editions that have been nerfed in later versions of D&D.  For example, the first level special ability could be a sleep spell with no saving throw, as a 1/day ability.  A higher level MU of the Pointy Hat might get a lightning bolt that rebounds, possibly doing multiple damage against a single foe, or an old-fashion volume-filling fireball.  Or Fly with a lengthy duration.What other MU spells would be cool to see resurrected this way?</blockquote>
