New CGI Star Wars series

I've searched through the Star Wars Blog, and starwars.com, and I haven't found any mention of who's carrying the series. It might be Cartoon Network, but producer Catherine Winder has stated the following: "According to Winder, it’s not being directed as an animated series, but more like live action in terms of its story and cinematography." It may end up on one of the mainstream networks -- likely NBC or SciFi channel.

I'm concerned how well this series will mesh with Clone Wars, which was an amazing series. I note that Asajj Ventress is in the new series even though the animated series pretty exhaustively dealt with her storyline.

That said, the new series also looks amazing, and I can't wait to watch it.

But, there is approximately a 20 year period between Sith and SW that we have virtually no info on. We get a live action series on that, but then an animated on the rather extensively covered and not very interesting Clone Wars. Yet, we get absolutely nothing outside of the Knights of the Old Republic games on the history of his galaxy. Why not an animated series set in that time period? There are so many options, it disappoints me for Lucas to go back to his Prequel Trilogy era. I've had enough of that era for now. It just seems like, at the moment, that is all that exists to Lucas.

I'm not one of these people that thinks that the PT is complete crap. However, there are so many possibilities. I'm not really interested in seeing Anakin Skywalker flying around kicking ass again. We had 2 movies and both Clone Wars DVDs full of that. Show us something else. We get it already, Anakin was a badass.

The rest of the CGI is well done but the people(of all species) look like poorly rendered Second Life avatars.

No doubt but I'm personally not expecting a lot regarding the acting, drama, dialog, etc. I just want to see some cutting edge CGI space battles. For all the rest of that stuff, I want a live action movie.
