I like pascalnz's idea. For another thought go elven avenger with multiclass rogue. For level 1 take angelic alacrity to move 11 square (7 from normal move and 4 shift as part of the two dice attack) or whirlwind charge to go a total of 16 squares with a +4 AC to opportunity attacks against you. For the big bad, action point and use aspect of might to make yourself Nightwing on steroids (+5 acrobatics, +2 damage, +2 speed to move up to 9 squares per round.) Use bluff to get one combat advantage per encounter to do your hunter's quarry damage and hope someone comes up to flank so you can get the second round of sneak before the uses run out. For a weapon maybe go Double Sword proficiency to get +1 AC and a light blade to do sneak damage. For a god, go Tempus to get lots of extra fat damage once per encounter or twice with crusader's weapon. Skills would be acrobatics, perception, stealth, thievery, and religion (no option if avenger.) Go leather as soon as possible for armor. Third option is same class with multiclass ranger. Take same powers but take a Double Flail as a weapon (much more like Nightwing.) Hunter's Quarry does not need combat advantage but does a little less damage. The weapon though will make up for it easily. With multiclass you can get some good damaging weapon powers at the same time that avengers seem to be stuck at 2[W] attacks mid heroic.
