Feedback on each ability. Probably should be _base_ reflex save otherwise, he is getting his dex twice. One thing I'm seeing is there are a lot of defensive bonuses based on dex. Here's an idea...an "adventurer" seems to be the sort that relies upon his cunning and charm as much as his agility. How about modifiying some of these defensive abilities to all him to stack his Int or Cha bonus on top of his dex bonuse for AC or Ref saves? That sounds good. Possible Int/Cha bonus candidate. Too many rolls. Everytime he hits, the DM has to roll a saving throw...that can get tedious fast, especially if it is to avoid 3 or 4 points of damage. Since this is something that can't be had until sixth level, why not just allow him to always add his dex bonus? Make it instead of strenght to keep things from getting out of hand. All attacks including the first? Good. Good. Is it possible to stack with Rogue or barbarian uncanny dodge? Can this be overridden by a Rogue of greater level than the adventurerer? See uncanny dodge. Good. Good. Good. Neat. Maybe make it 3 rounds. I'd drop the "own race only if evil." thing. I dropped it on the Ranger, too. I can see this class being used for Private Eye and Bounty Hunter types which are more Lawful Neutral and even Lawful Good law enforcers who want to bring villians of their own race and society to justice for the greater good. But, I suppose you left it in just to remain consistant with the Ranger ability. Good. Good. What about divine casters? That would probably have to be more complex... All good. After you get this all worked out, I may just present this to my group.
