Damn, this deal is getting better and better, but how much (including postage & P) is a subscription (4 issues) for somone in europe?

Foreign Shipping

We charge an additional $9 per volume for shipping to outside the U.S. So a 4-volume subscription would be an extra $36, an 8-volume would be $72 and a 12-volume would be an extra $108. This may seem like a lot but that covers the almost 10-pound box of promotional stuff. We ship that air mail. And the rest of the books are shipped Global Priority so they arrive in 3 to 5 days.

Rob, you may already be doing this, but at 10 pounds you should probably use the "M-Bag" Air category, specifying the contents as books. (When they put it in a bag, it should hit the 11 lb. minimum M-bag charge.) It's still not cheap, compared to domestic rates, but at least takes advantage of the special treatment and rates for books.

Example of contrasting costs (from USPS website), on 11 lbs. to, to pick a random European country, France:

Airmail Parcel Post: $40.15
Airmail Economy (surface): $24.70

M-bag (air) books: $27.50
M-bag (surface) books: $9.90

On the USPS website, to find the M-bag rates you have to look under volume mailing.

Well, now I've gone and done it. At least one of my friends was blown away by this offer and swears that he had joined the subscribers here. Tom Wright, bless your evil soul.

GF 3

Hey Rob,

Did GF 3 get mailed out yet?

I took advantage of your first promotional offer and am looking forward to getting my box full o' loot.

First promotion shipped

Todd, Yes the first subscrption shipments went Tuesday, October 15. They ran a little late because a couple of the promotional books took a little time to get here. Hopefully we won't run into that problem this time around.

Hey folks, Even after over 500 views of this post we still have over 30 subscription deal boxes available. I honestly don't see how you could pass up this deal. If you already have some of the books sell them to your friendsand get your subscription money back. If you already subscribed but want the new box o' stuff you can subscribe again and we'll just tack it on to the back end of your subscription.

And something I haen't mentioned before: Once the dust settles on these subscription drives we intend to continue offering our subscribers discounts on select d20 merchandise. We'll run weekly specials where you can get 20 to 30% off selected titles. But this will only be available to our paid subscribers.

And lastly, thanks for the heads up on the m-bag, John. I didn't now aboutit and I just sent a package to Malaysia the other day. I'll go to the site and see how much money that would have saved me.

Rob

I'm in!

I was surprised to see you had no listing for retailers in California by the way on your website. There are hundreds!

Well, for someone with specific interests and not wanting to pay $9 in postage for each issue, it is not quite so much of a deal. Previews and excerpts from products are nice but nowhere near as nice as the actual product. And if you don't like them?

But then again I'm really tightfisted with my gaming dollars. :)
