New Druid Spells

These spells look good to me for the most part. Although as suggested above, you should bump up the level of Flash Flood.

I am playing a druid right now actually... wonder if I talk my DM into allowing these in....

Ok, Flash Flood is now Drd 6, Sor/Wiz 5 with a Reflex save based on the spellcaster's level and ability score modifier (as per suggestions above).

Permanent season has an area written as: Radius 20 ft. + 5 ft/lvl - I figure from the center point of where the spell is cast, a 15th level druid can affect a circle of 115' in diameter. XP cost is radius x 20. Hopefully that doesn't confuse things more :) (ok, ok, I doodled during math class in h.s. and college.)

That mechanic is strange... why not just use a standard save? (10+spell level+relevenent ability mod)

Maybe I'm misinterpreting this, but that's what I have written in the pdf: "The ground cracks open and a torrential flood of water rushes in the direction the spellcaster specifies, causing 5d6 points of slam damage to any creature in its path. If a creature in the flood path fails to make his Reflex save (DC 10 + caster level + ability score modifier) he is swept off his feet, tumbling 10d10 feet down the flood path and suffering an additional 5d6 points of damage."

DC 10 + caster level + ability score modifier.

should be...

DC 10 + *spell* level + ability modifier

Via your method this spell in the hands of a 20th level Druid with a 22 Wis would have a DC of 36 (10+20+6)

It contrast to the DC 22 (10+6+6) it would have normally.

Somantics can account for alot sometimes ;)

d'oh! you're right. That's what I intended but it's been a loooooooooong day I'm cross-eyed and suffering from brain farts :) Thanks for pointing that out. I'll fix the text asap.

Just one comment on naming...
It's standard fashion that if a divine spell is created it is named after the deity of the divine spellcaster (NOT the deity of the spellcaster who created it but the caster's deity), whereas an arcane version is named after the wizard (or perhaps sorcerer) who first learned/used it. Thus, adding a little piece of flavor text referring to this would probably be a good idea. (See the PHB, Bigby's Crushing Hand, as an example.)
This might be a real bummer if it was actually "created" by a druid named Logan, but if that's the case then the spell simply wasn't named right.
On the other hand, Logan might just be a nature god in your campaign. In which case it's named just about right, but needs to be clarified as follows:
Level: Drd 3 (Logan), Rgr 2 (Logan), Sor/Wiz 2

Yeah, that's a good point too. I was originally gonna call the spell "Polymorph Lite" but that sucked so I called it Logan's Mutation on a whim. I renamed it to Bestial Mutation.
