I see a slight shadow on the furniture (which could probably be emphasized a little more), but beneath that is a rug on the floor which shouldn't have a shadow (or very little anyway).

I think he's noticing that the table and chairs in the center room do not seem to have any shadow, unlike the beds and other objects.

Hmm... I guess you're right. I might do those shadows a bit darker.
