My bet is that most gamers would be comfortable sitting at the gaming table if the GM were so accommodating.   My thought it that when sitting down at another GMs table you accept whatever rules edition he likes, including house rules, and if one doesn't like it one finds another game.  Problems arise more often for long standing campaign groups where the GM makes major changes without warning or compromise.</blockquote>
