I don't feel like a <em>staff fighter</em>, I feel like any other fighter, except I spent my feats to use an unorthodox weapon. </p><p></p><p>I think you run into this problem more frequently when you're basing powers on effect rather than on method, so it requires a bit more attention, a bit more work to go back and make sure that you get a little special kicker for doing what you'd clearly want to do as a staff fighter, something that leads the player by the nose and says, explicitly, <em>this will be cool to do</em>.
