"new" essentials class builds?

Quick question: besides the essentials class builds in the 2 "Heroes" books what newer builds have been (or are soon to be) released? And what roles do they fill?

Heroes of Shadows has them (see the previews).
Vampire (striker)
Blackguard (striker)
Binder (controller)
Executioner (striker)

It seems this format is the new standard, so all new builds and classes will fall in the category. An essential warlord was already announed as Dragon content.

Thanks :)

So the pyromancer and staff fighter aren't really new versions of the wizard or fighter (in the same sense that knight and slayer are 2 distinct fighter builds)?

No, it technically is not the essential warlord, but rather an updated warlord with better formatting. I guess builds are more clearly distinguished, but you can still mix and match. Just like slayer and knight or hunter and scout usually can chose from 4 options. Two of them listed for both subclasses, two listed only for one class. Which the other can still take, but usually is less useful there except for "advanced" builds.

Pyromancy is a new school of magic for the Mage.

Staff Fighting offers new weapon benefits for the Knight (originally only longsword and warhammer) and the Slayer (originally only greatsword and greataxe).

So not really new "builds", but expansions of the existing builds.

Yep I did :) Apparently English isn't too different between Lower Saxony and Hawaii...

So by my counting that brings the essentials classes (technically defined or practically implemented) extant or soon to be released to:

Assassin - Executioner
Cleric - Warpriest
Druid - Sentinel
Fighter - Knight
Fighter - Slayer
Paladin - Blackguard
Paladin - Cavalier
Ranger - Hunter
Ranger - Scout
Rogue - Thief
Warlock - Binder
Warlock - Hexblade
Wizard - Mage
Wizard - Necromancer

Do I have that right ?

You should have the Vampire class on that list as well.

I will add that there were two hexblade builds, one an alternate fey pact, one for the star pact, presented in Dragon.

Not sure about the Blackguard, but the Necromancer is not a new build, it is just a normal Mage school.

I get the impression that the Blackguard is just a variant on the Cavalier, but I'm not 100% on that one.
