How does this look?

True Friend [General]
You are a loyal companion despite the twists and turns your life may take.
Prerequisite: Animal Companion Class Ability, Cha 13+
Benefit: If you have a class other than one that adds to animal companion levels, you may add a number of those classes equal to the number of levels that you have with the animal companion ability. If you only have levels in classes which add to your animal companion ability, treat your level as 3 levels higher when determining your animal companion's abilities.

Examples: A Drd3/Rog3 with this feat would calculate his animal companion as a 6th level druid would. A Drd1/Rog5 would calculate his animal companion as a 2nd level druid would (not a 6th). A Drd6 with this feat would calculate his animal companion as a 9th level druid. A Rgr9 with this feat would calculate his animal companion as a 6th level druid (since the ranger animal companion class ability is at half the rate of the druid).

Well looking at other example I would add something like up to 4 level. so that a 10 druid/ 10 rogue would have a 14 level equivalent creature

The way I worded the feat a Drd10/Rog10 would have the same animal companion as a Drd20. Too much for one feat? But then again, how many true split multiclass chars are there?

The +2 is for single class characters, so a Drd10 with this feat has an animal companion as a Drd12. I was wondering if it should be more compensation (I think the chart increases every 3 levels so maybe making it a flat category increase would be best).

I have edited the main post to reflect +3 animal companion levels for single class characters.
