I'm voting Sorcerer, but Ranger is a close second.I don't like Sorcerer as a favored class for elves, at least for core PHB elves; a class that studies magic seems to me to fit them better than spontaneous high-power low-versatility fantasy X-Men.Harsh. Me, I can't see saying that the best representation for a given race is in a setting that lacks it completely... That's just not necessary.
