New Item - Elven Rations

I'm not sure about the fatigue thing...

As for the chance of finding it outiside elven and dwarven nations... I think the best way to regulate it is leave it in the DMs hands. If he thinks they're too powerful or should be super rare, then that DM doesn't make them available or barely so. It's up the DM whether they show in on the store shelves or not.

Here's what I'm presenting for inclusion to the guidebook.

Elven Rations Featherloaf
  • One day.
    cost = 5 gp.
    weight = .25 lbs.
    A thin bread made of berries, nuts, and herbs. A very small amount goes a long way. Very tasty for up to ten years.

Dwarven Rations Stonebread
  • One day.
    cost = 5 gp
    weight = 1lb
    A thick, hard bread made of boiled roots, tubers, nuts, and it is rumored: dirt. Rather bland and better eaten with a heathy portion of beer or ale.
    After eating the rations for one day it provides a +1 bonus to all fortitude saves for 24 hours.

I increased the price of both. These would reflex the average price found outside their respective home kingdoms. Within their kingdoms they may be a lot cheaper.

If anyone would like to dicuss them further we can, or put them up to a vote. Otherwise, we're good to go.

...Blasted Elves...

I like the rations idea, still.... blasted pansy elves, to weak to carry about their own rations. BAH! Now that stone bread stuff, that I can get to like. I was thinking 4gp might seem a little more fair for a price as was suggested a few posts ago. But five gp would definitely keep PC's from buying these at lower levels. Cool beans Northman.
