New Look For The Sci-Fi News Page

Morrus

Well, that was fun

Those of you who read the Sci-Fi News Page (or the Sci-Fi News Items forum) may have noticed its shiny, brand new look. It has been changed to bring it more in line with the main D&D/d20 news page in terms of presentation and professionality, and less like the main news page's red-headed stepchild.

Suggestions or comments are welcome - I'd like to see the news page become more of a fixture. For example, I was wondering if a sidebar linking to recent trailers on the web was something that would be useful? Anything else you'd like to see?

On another note - if you do stumble across a cool snippet of sci-fi related news, please submit it to the news page!

That looks great! I had no idea it even existed. :D

BTW, the title of the page is set to "Sc-fi & Fantasy" instead of "Sci-fi". :)

I like the new format, particularly the more indepth descriptions of what each entries about. Previously they were too undetailed to get a good feel what the link led to.

I agree, great improvement, and (I guess it's unrelated, but) the more detailed descriptions keep me from always having to follow the link in question, since about 85% of the time it would turn out to be something I wasn't interested in. Now it's much easier to discern.

(And it looks great!)
