[FONT="]I'm currently playing in a 5e game as a Changeling Monk/Druid (changeling race from the Unearthed Arcana: Eberron). When I was looking through the list of magic items I came across the Glamoured Studded Leather and thought, well if this wasn't armor it would be perfect for me. So at first I just made it directly into a Cloak and took out the notes on weight and armor bonus. If it was just that it would be perfect, but I thought I could have something replace that AC bonus and this was what I came up with.[/FONT]
Changeling Cloak:[FONT="] This cloak appears to be a normal non-magical cloak, even when using divination spells such as [/FONT]Detect Magic [FONT="]however when you put it on everything that you are wearing also appears to be non-magical. You can also use a bonus action to speak the cloaks command word and cause it to assume the appearance of a normal set of clothing or some kind of armor. You decide what it looks like, including colour, style, and accessories. The illusory appearance lasts until you use this property again or remove the cloak.
My question is should it require attunement? I find the ability to mask any worn magic items fairly innocuous and the ability to do so is only a 2nd level spell Nystul's Magic Aura, but is there something I'm not seeing?
