We’re just dropping you a line to let you know those rumors are true. ZUZZY Miniatures does exist. Who are we?ZUZZY Miniatures is a new company that creates cross platform, theme based, high quality, miniature gaming terrain suitable for use with many pre-existing game systems. Our directive is to become a dynamic and integral component to the ever-expanding hobbies of tabletop Wargaming, Pen & Paper RPG’s, and Model building. Attention to Detail: We believe that the environment on any Table Top game should have the same dynamic and engaging quality as the painted figures of that game. Our models are designed with this intent bringing a new level of believability to the experience. Theme Based: All terrain designed by us will have context. Did you ever want to run a campaign through a burned out forest or across a desolate landscape? Did you ever think, "Wouldn't it be nice to assault those Norse Giants in their Icelandic hill fort . . ." only to settle for graph paper, a roll of green felt and a couple of flock covered foam rocks? Change is on the wind . . . Cross Platform: There’s nothing wrong with green felt and foam rocks. (Or the many companies and individuals that make them.) Our terrain is designed for the novice or the expert model builder. Creativity is what we encourage, at any level and in nearly any genre within the hobby (Mix and match!). Also, most of our terrain is designed for use with multiple scales and recommendations will be right on the packaging. What are you currently working on?Two themes are in production now, and most of what we are making will support those themes until the basic sets are finished. One theme is the burned out remnants of a forest landscape called The Ruined Lands™. The second theme is a landscape broken by natural and not so natural forces called the Despoiled Reaches™.Right now we have just released a new set of fallen trees and logs and a set of lava/sulfur vents. With much more to come.What’s around the corner?This first quarter is a busy time for us as a fledgling company with big ideas. First up we plan on releasing two Table Top Boards for the above mentioned themes. These are our biggest items setting the stage for the ZUZZY Miniatures’ plan, based on our board designs called the TerraFlex™ and UnderHill™ systems. More themes are under production, but won't be making their appearance until later in the year. Right now we plan on beefing up our website giving you more content than the current shopping cart that you'll find there now. The website will have ZUZZY tutorials, robust theme-based story content, forums, and reviews.
