First Post
Ahh, having just posted a new advanced class, I should post this first new occupation for my Prometheus: Earth d20 Modern setting:
UFOlogist
Civilian scientist engaged in the study of UFO phenomena and in the history of UFO sightings and alien contact. This occupation is typically an investigative field researcher with some kind of academic or science background.
Prerequisite: Age 25+.
Skills: Choose three of the following skills as permanent class skills. If a skill the character selects is already a class skill, he or she receives a +1 competence bonus on checks using that skill. Knowledge (Physical Sciences, UFO Phenomena, History, Technology), Gather Information, Craft (Visual Arts), Investigate, Research, Computer Use, Sense Motive, Search.
Bonus Feat: Select from one of the following: Attentive, Studious, Educated.
Wealth Bonus Increase: +1.
Obviously, this means I'm introducing a new new skill: Knowledge (UFO Phenomena). I decided to do that instead of using the Knowledge (Pop Culture) or something similar. As one balancing factor, I wanted the PC choosing this occupation to have to use a narrower skill.
