Message: <blockquote data-quote="Bad Paper" data-source="post: 3809524" data-attributes="member: 24674">I have both of these, and they have breathed new interest into the game for me.  Especially Bo9S.If you have the chance to check it out, look into the Jade Phoenix Mage prestige class on page 113.  The class flavor is swordsage/wizard, but you can take it as a sorcerer, and if you want to spend feats, you don't have to take even a single level of swordsage.  Entry reqs: nonevil, Concentration 9 ranks, Knowledge (arcana, history, and religion) 2 ranks each, must know two martial maneuvers (at least one strike), must know one martial stance, and have the ability to cast second-level arcane spells.You can fulfill those martial thingys with one level of swordsage, or you can go full sorcerer and burn three feats: Martial Stance, and Martial Study twice.The JPM PrC is ten levels, eight of which give you arcane progression.  Full BAB!  The ultimate power is the ability to explode, ha ha, dealing 20d6 to everyone within 20' and then reappearing a few rounds later in your square, fully Healed.The other nice thing about this for you is that the swordsage would breathe six+Int skill points per level into your character, filling a role that your rogue-less party needs.Seans23 is currently massacring our party in Exp to Cas Rav*.  We, too, have 28-point-buys, so one of my on-deck PCs is an elven swordsage/wizard going straight for JPM.*[his RttToEE imploded.  Hedrack won.]</blockquote>
