I received an IM earlier this week from somebody tipping me off that a comic book studio is working on a new Pirates of Dark Water comic! The person mentioned Marvel by name, but after I did some digging and checked with some reliable sources, it seems that it might be Wildstorm Comics instead. There's no news about it on either website, but the person who IMd me assured me that it's already in production and the 5-issue series should be done by this summer. Wizard Magazine apparently made mention of it in one of their back issues, around issue #139. If anybody could confirm this for me or even send it to me, either via a scan or taking time out to type up the text so I can post it up here, I would definitely appreciate it, since I'm by no means a comic aficionado.
