Prestige Class: Mirror of Justice Everyone knows that one individual who has a profound effect on the people near him. Good people around him are inspired and encouraged to greatness, while evil people see him as all the good they could have been. The Mirror of Justice is a cleric with deep personal convictions. At some point in his past, he has experienced some act of cruelty or malice that has shown him the true horror of what can lie within the heart. Seeing this as an atrocity of the living, he focuses his divine powers on revealing this, both to himself, and to those around him, at the sacrifice of increasing his control over the undead. Prerequisites: Alignment: Lawful Good. Spells: Ability to cast magic circle against evil. Special: Must have witnessed some tragic event that allowed you to see the evil in someone’s heart. Class Features: Hit Die: d8 BAB: As cleric. Good Saves: Fort and Will. Skills: 2 + Int Class Skills: Concentration, Diplomacy, Heal, Knowledge (history), Knowledge (planes), Knowledge (Religion), Sense Motive Spells Per Day: As cleric. Other: The character’s turn undead ability no longer increases in power. 1 See to the Heart 1/day 2 Mirror of the Inner Soul 1/day 3 4 Mirror of the Inner Soul 2/day 5 See to the Heart 3/day 6 Deflect Evil 7 Greater Mirror of the Inner Soul 3/day 8 9 See to the Heart at will 10 Reflect Evil See to the Heart (Sp): As the spell, detect evil. Mirror of the Inner Soul (Su): As a standard action, the Mirror of Justice can focus divine power to show those around him (within 30 feet) the inner character of their souls. Good creatures are encouraged by the sight of their relative purity, and evil creatures (even fiends) are disheartened by their own vileness. All good creatures within the area of effect receive a +2 morale bonus on all attack rolls and saves against fear effects. All evil creatures within the area take a -2 morale penalty on attack rolls and fear saves. This lasts for 1 minute per level of the prestige class. Greater Mirror of the Inner Soul (Su): As mirror of the inner soul, but increase the bonus and penalties to +4 and -4. Deflect Evil (Su): The Mirror of Justice gains spell resistance against spells with the “evil” descriptor. The amount of spell resistance is equal to 15 + level of the prestige class. Reflect Evil (Su): At 10th-level, any spell with the “evil” descriptor cast on the Mirror of Justice that would be nullified because of Deflect Evil is instead reflected back on the caster as its “good” equivalent (for example, unholy blight is reflected back as holy smite). Area-effect spells still affect those around him, and the reflected equivalent only affects the caster.
