I made a [S]couple[/S] [S]few[/S] lot of adjustments to make this PrC fit my swashbuckling campaign: *Alignment requirement changed to: Any nonlawful (to allow neutral evil cowards, c'mon!) *Dropped BAB to +3 (To allow rogues to get the PrC before 6th level) *Increased Escape Artist skill requirement to 8 (So that the PrC can't be obtained before 5th level) *Added Bluff 5 skill requirement *Added Listen, Spot, and Tumble to the skill list (To hear, see, and get out of the way danger.) *Increased skill points per level to 6 + Intelligence modifer *Decreased BAB from that of fighter to that of rogue (Cowards with full BAB?) *2nd level added Lucky Bastard: Yellowbelly Cowards come to realize the importance that luck plays in their continued survival. At 2nd level, they receive a bonus luck feat for which they meet the prerequisite. (see Complete Scoundrel for details) An homage to Rincewind and cowards everywhere. *5th level Chicken replaced with Leave Me For Dead (Ex): Upon a successful stabilization check Yellowbellied Cowards may opt to go into a comatose state that is difficult to distinguish from death. This effect will deceive an investigator unless a Heal check is made at a DC equal to 15 + the Yellowbellied Coward’s class level. The Yellowbellied Coward can choose to end this effect at any time. (Slightly reworked version of Sigurd's suggestion). I really like this one. Thanks a bunch! EDIT: Decided to remove Lucky Bastard and replace it with: Your Shoe’s Untied (Ex): Knowing when to use the right distraction at the right time has saved many a Yellowbellied Coward from a fate worse than (or at least equal to) death. At 2nd level, the Yellowbellied Coward receives the Improved Diversion feat for free. If the Yellowbellied Coward already has the Improved Diversion feat, he receives a +4 bonus on the Hide check that accompanies creating a diversion (see page 68 of PHB for rules on creating a diversion to hide). Improved Diversion feat taken from Complete Adventuer. I decided my take on the Yellowbellied Coward needed less luck (plenty of classes for that in the Complete Scoundrel and at least one social ability.
