What is the future of genetics and how will it affect life in our planet? Can we control all the forced genetic mutation of plants, animals and humans alike? Very unlikely. The general public has no idea of what's going on behind the scenes, of how fast developments are made in the field, and how the extremelly high commercial value of genetic manipulation will always keep secret projects, illegal or not, creating the most horrifying nightmares in hidden laboratories. The ethics in genetics issue will never die. We are discovering important information about the formation of life, and such information can be used to heal, or ill. We already possess the power to completely destroy the entire life in our planet (ok, except the cockroaches). That power is not nearly as frightening as the degenerative power of bioengineering and the multiplication of such mutations throughout the DNAs of the species. Life will never be the same again.
The Wolf Code is a psychological-thriller modern fiction game based on the subject of genetic manipulation and its negative consequences. It's about the corruption of the soul, mind, body, and chromosomes. It's about the dark side of men, blinded by power, and mad about the ambition of playing God. Last, but not least, it's a game where common people will be trapped in a claustrophobic nightmare, where they will be crying for help, running for their lives, never looking back, and hoping that their blood won't be painting the walls.
