Message: <blockquote data-quote="Mean DM" data-source="post: 921108" data-attributes="member: 700">All right, I'll take the bait <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f609.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=";)" title="Wink    ;)"  data-smilie="2"data-shortname=";)" />.  I think your comment about Harn boards is unfair to our Harniac bretheren.  First off, what would you expect?  HarnMaster is not a d20 system.  One of the premise of your post is based on the recent changes within DnD.  Since they are not, I say, they are entitled to whine all they want.  This is like complaining about the disagreement between Apple and PC users.Second, there are plenty of non-d20 boards out there where d20 get bashed.  And the bashing of d20 by Harniacs is far less common than in other forums IMO.  Further, most of the d20 ranting on the main Harn board (harnforum.com) is in jest.  They may be a bit crude and abrasive on the face of it, but once you get to know the regulars you'll find that they are a fine group of gamer.  Opinionated, yes.  Whiners, no.   And while you might fault some for their extreme views of d20, there is a greater number who use, are receptive to, or at least neutral to the use of d20 with Harn.Lastly, your point about critical analysis and long thoughtful posts actually supports Harn community.  No disrespect to EnWorld, but I find that the level of discourse on the Harn boards to be the most thoughtful anywhere on the net.Good points, poor example <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f609.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=";)" title="Wink    ;)"  data-smilie="2"data-shortname=";)" />.
