-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Currently in our campaign theres a bit of enchanting going on and in order to complete the theme of an item, we extrapolated a couple of spells based on Mr. Cooks excelent Mark spells from BoEM. The void mark is to represent the calm of the negative plane rather than the nastier effect (we're looking at it from a somewhat oriental mindset). If anyone has any insight into these spell and could help it would be appreciated. Mark of the Void Alteration Level: Wiz/Sorc 2 Components: V, S ,m Casting Time: 10 min Range: touch Targets: One creature Duration: 1 hour per level Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless) Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless) Mark of the Void is the negative energy (but to serenity of the void rather than life draining) version of the Mark family os spells (presented in Book of Eldritch Might). The continuous effect of the spell is +4 (void bonus) to concentration checks or the waerer of the Mark may expend the spell (thus ending its duration) for an extra partial action. Mark of Wood(Life) Alteration Level: Wiz/Sorc 2, Druid 2 Components: V, S ,m Casting Time: 10 min Range: touch Targets: One creature Duration: 1 hour per level Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless) Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless) The Mark of Wood (or Life depending on tradition) is the Positive, lfe enriching version of the Mark family of spells (also the only one to appear on the Druidical List.) The Mark of Wood confers a +1 to natural armor bonus to the wearer or the spell can be ended prematurely in order to dispel exhaustion on the wearer or a being touched. Note dispelling exhaustion acts as a full 8 hours of rest for all purposes EXCEPT regaining spells. Casters still need 4 hours of meditation in order to regain spells.
