Message: <blockquote data-quote="Hand of Vecna" data-source="post: 390686" data-attributes="member: 755">Original Transformers filled me with a sense of wonder and awe (especially the Moive, and the ep "Call of the Primitives")Beast Wars filled me with nostalgia and instilled a sense of wonder in me, and at times made me feel like a kid again.  "Code of Hero," the ep where Dinobot sacrificed himself to save proto-humanity, filled me with a sort of vicarious feeling of honor and pride.Beast Machines filled me with rage at how "PC" it had become (Maximals had no weapons, and were trying to "bring the Organic back to Cybertron" -- WTF?!).  Still, there was 1 character I could root wholeheartedly for (Megatron, yeeesss....), and one I could cheer on (Tankorr/Rhinox).Transformers: Robots in Disguise was a light-hearted romp that rarely took itself seriously.  While certainly not my fave, if nothing else was on I knew I could watch it and get a chuckle.Transformers: Aramada, though... never did I think I could feel APATHY towards a TF-related show.  I don't know which is worse, the similarities between it and "Pokemon," the piss-poor animation, or the gods-awful dialogue (and the constant repitition of the main storyline).  Thus far the only saving grace of that show is Gary Chalk (doing the voice of Armada Optimus Prime; he also did BW/BM Optimus Primal) and David Kaye (doing the voice of Armada Megatron; he was also BW/BM Megatron).  Also, Scott McNeil (he did Rattrap, Dinobot, Silverbolt, and Waspinator on BW/BM) is supposed to be coming on later in the season, but I doubt even his voice talents can salvage the show.</blockquote>
