new TERRAIN company...

Your descriptions on ebay say you are casting things in resins. How fast are you burning up your molds using that stuff instead of dental plaster?

The life of the mold depends on several factors including the item being molded and the quality and technique of mold creation. Items with more undercuts will obviously burn a mold faster; however, flat molds are longer lived.

We assign each mold a casting life and incorporate that into the cost of the business and are often surprised that some molds double their life expectancy.

We can also duplicate our molds relatively fast to replenish.

New Website

Thanks to the feedback in the thread, we pushed up our new website release schedule and have implemented the new website at LRHobbies Home Page. The site has a ways to go but we are now working to finish this and get some of our complete sets listed.

Continued feedback is always appreciated.
